Litigation Paralegal: Sex Trafficking Team

Litigation Paralegal - Sex Trafficking & Sexual Abuse Team Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, PA is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with strong trial and litigation experience to join a dedicated legal team representing survivors of sex trafficking and sexual abuse.

This is more than a traditional litigation paralegal position.

What You'll Do As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from case development and discovery through trial and resolution.

Responsibilities may include: Litigation & Case Management: Assist attorneys with managing complex cases, deadlines, pleadings, discovery, records, correspondence, and case files.

Discovery: Draft and assist with interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, responses, and other discovery-related documents.

Trial Preparation: Organize exhibits, evidence, witness materials, medical records, deposition materials, and other documents necessary for hearings, depositions, mediation, and trial.

Legal Documents: Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, correspondence, subpoenas, chronologies, summaries, and other litigation documents.

Case Investigation: Assist attorneys in gathering, reviewing, organizing, and analyzing evidence and records necessary to develop each case.

Client Communication: Maintain professional and compassionate communication with clients throughout the litigation process.

Attorney Support: Work closely with attorneys to prepare cases strategically and efficiently for depositions, mediation, hearings, and trial.

Sensitive Case Management: Handle highly confidential and emotionally sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, empathy, and sound judgment.

What We're Looking For Because of the complex nature of these cases, significant litigation and trial preparation experience is important for this position.
