Within our Digital Experience, AI & Innovation organization, we design useful, intuitive, consistent, and accessible digital experiences that meet the needs of our users worldwide.

Your role As Head of Design System & Experience Platform, on a six-month fixed-term contract renewable, you will define and lead a unified, scalable, intelligent, and future-ready digital experience across all Schneider Electric digital products.

You will be responsible for the vision, governance, evolution, and adoption of Quartz, Schneider Electric's Design System.

Quartz provides designers and developers with reusable foundations, standards, patterns, and components to improve experience consistency, team efficiency, and digital product development speed.

Your mission will also be to evolve Quartz from a Design System into a fully-fledged Experience Platform, capable of supporting both traditional graphical interfaces and new AI-powered experiences.

You will act as a strategic partner to the Digital Experience, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Brand, Marketing, Data, and AI teams.

You will align design excellence with Schneider Electric's transformation and value-creation objectives.

You will report to the VP Digital Experience, AI & Innovation and manage a multidisciplinary team of approximately 10 employees.

Your responsibilities

1) Design System Strategy and AI-Driven Innovation

You will define Quartz's long-term vision and support its evolution into a global, scalable, and intelligent experience platform.

Your responsibilities will include:


* Defining and leading Quartz's vision, strategy, roadmap, and operating model


* Defining the AI experience strategy integrated into the Design Platform


* Establishing experience principles and standards for conversational interfaces, assistants, copilots, autonomous agents, and generative experiences


* Developing reusable patterns, components, and guidelines for products incorporating artificial intelligence capabilities


* Defining standards for transparent, trustworthy, accessible, explainable, and privacy-conscious AI experiences


* Collaborating with AI, Data Science, and Engineering teams to align platform capabilities with Schneider Electric's ambitions


* Encouraging experimentation in AI-assisted design, personalization, generated content, and intelligent workflows


* Anticipating technological developments and evolving user expectations

2) Design Platform Governance
