RN Inpatient/Post-Surgical Orthopedics - Night Shift

SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE MONDAY-FRIDAY & ROTATING WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS The Essentials Schedule: Part-Time 24 hours per week | Night Shift 2x 12s 7PM-7:30AMLocation: Fairlawn, OHSpecialty: Post-Surgical Orthopedics & Plastics, Inpatient What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care to orthopedic, pain management, and plastic surgery patients across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including musculoskeletal, neurovascular, pain, and post-operative evaluations, and identify early signs of complications.Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments while monitoring patient response and collaborating with providers to optimize outcomes.Deliver post-operative care, including wound and drain management, infection prevention, safe positioning, and protection of surgical sites.Answer Support patient recovery through early mobilization, safe transfers, ambulation, and coordination with physical and occupational therapy teams.

What We're Looking For Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program required.Experience: One (1) to two (2) years of acute care nursing experience preferred, with orthopedic, surgical, or post-operative experience strongly preferred.

New graduates with relevant clinical training are encouraged to apply.Skills: Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities, including neurovascular monitoring and post-operative patient management.

Excellent communication, patient education, and collaboration skills with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Ability to support patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning in a physically active healthcare environment.License & Certifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio required.

BLS certification required within one month of hire.

ACLS preferred.

Orthopedic Nurse Certification (ONC) is beneficial but not required.
