As a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading large-scale construction materials testing projects while ensuring exceptional client service, project quality, and financial performance.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, oversee field and laboratory operations, and guide project teams to successful project completion.

In this leadership role, you will supervise and coordinate technical personnel, provide project oversight, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and client requirements

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can effectively manage projects, develop technical staff, build strong client relationships, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities


* Manage and oversee large Construction Materials Testing (CMT) projects from initiation through closeout.


* Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services and project growth.


* Review project setup, scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful execution.


* Prepare and review complex proposals, contracts, and project documentation.


* Coordinate and direct technical and administrative teams to achieve project objectives.


* Perform contract review and negotiation activities, engaging Legal and Principal Consultants when necessary.


* Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability, including change order management.


* Review, prepare, and submit invoices while assisting with billing and collections activities.


* Review and sign test reports, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.


* Oversee laboratory testing progress and field operations.


* Schedule and dispatch field personnel based on project needs and priorities.


* Attend client and project meetings and provide regular project updates.


* Train, mentor, and develop field and laboratory staff.


* Provide technical oversight and guidance to technicians, inspectors, and laboratory personnel.


* Supervise and coordinate the work of technicians, inspectors, and project support staff.


* Exercise sound judgment in adapting project plans and technical requirements to meet client and project needs.


* Perform equipment calibrations and assist with quality audits as needed.


* Ensure project quality, client satisfaction, and compliance with company standards and safety requirements.


* Communicate effectively with clients, technicians, project managers, and senior leadership.
