Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking an Operational Excellence Engineering Co-Op to join our OpEx Team located in Danvers.

You will be responsible for:


* Supporting implementation of OpEx initiatives and other improvement projects


* Using lean methodologies such as 5S, standard work, visual management, kanban, pareto and others in support of defining, measuring, analyzing, improving, and controlling improvement initiatives


* Supporting training and awareness of OpEx tools and methodologies


* Facilitating/coaching teams and individuals to apply tools


* Acting as change agent, supporting peers & management in realizing changes on site and influencing leaders without direct authority to improve culture and perspective


* Connecting with global OpEx organization: exchange knowledge/standard processes, benchmark, identify & drive adoption of proven practices

Qualifications/Requirements:


* Student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain or Engineering


* Willingness to spend time on the operations floor to understand manufacturing processes


* Results-oriented with the ability to analyze problems


* Excels in a team environment while continually and constructively challenging the status quo


* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others


* Interest in leading workshops/Kaizen events with cross-functional teams
