About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically minded co-op student to support the development of innovative methods for extracting clinical data from large collections of source documents.

A primary project will focus on transforming PDF-based clinical records into structured databases that can support clinical research, real-world evidence generation, and scientific analyses.

This position combines elements of clinical research, data science, artificial intelligence, and software development.

The successful candidate will work alongside clinical scientists to develop, test, and validate automated data extraction workflows while gaining exposure to cardiovascular medicine, medical devices, and clinical research.

This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in healthcare data science, biomedical informatics, artificial intelligence, software engineering, clinical research, or medical devices.
