About the Role The Clinical Director, Outpatient Services provides clinical leadership across Serenity Lane's outpatient behavioral health programs while overseeing daily operations of the Portland outpatient clinic.
This role leads clinical quality, staff development, regulatory compliance, and integrated co-occurring treatment while maintaining a small caseload to support assessments, consultation, and patient care.
What You'll Do
* Provide clinical leadership and oversight across outpatient behavioral health services.
* Supervise licensed clinicians, pre-licensed clinicians, interns, and Portland SUD counselors.
* Oversee Portland clinic staffing, scheduling, workflow, productivity, and daily operations.
* Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and staff development.
* Establish consistent clinical practices, documentation standards, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
* Ensure compliance with CARF, Oregon regulations, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
* Conduct chart reviews, clinical observations, and quality improvement activities.
* Provide consultation on complex cases and maintain a limited caseload of approximately 2-4 patients.
What We're Looking For
* Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
* LCSW, required.
* CADC III, required.
* Minimum of five years of behavioral health clinical experience.
* Strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR, ASAM Criteria, co-occurring treatment, Oregon regulations, and CARF standards.
* Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
* Outpatient behavioral health leadership and clinical supervision experience, preferred.
* Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
