Communications, Intern
Summary: The Communications and Corporate Relations Intern supports the planning and execution of the organizations communication strategy.
Essential Functions: Support in the execution of communication strategies for key audiences; tactics to include: o Development of blog posts and advertorial content o Participation in community outreach events o Development of content for earned media o Content development for consumer and internal websites o Assisting in the coordination and executive of Community Outreach events o Social media strategy planning, content development, and posting o Participating in reporting meetings with internal partners and digital advertising agency o Compiling media campaign and social media analytics for monthly reporting Competencies: Possess the ability to write with clarity, confidence, and in a professional tone.
Graphic design or video editing skills a plus but not required.
Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team Excellent attention to detail Self-motivated and task-oriented Excellent grammar, typing and computer skills Education & Experience: Currently pursuing an associates or bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, or another related field.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions: General office environment.
Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.
