On average, the affiliate builds and renovates 100 homes in the Los Angeles region each year, ranking it among the largest affiliates nationwide.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is seeking a Planned Giving Associate Director to raise increased funds through the successful identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of current and prospective planned gift donors.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop and implement an annual Planned Giving strategic plan in partnership with the Major Gifts Director, incorporating goals, timelines, performance metrics, and targeted marketing and communications strategies to drive planned giving awareness, donor engagement, and pipeline growth.

Manage and grow a portfolio of 150+ current and prospective planned giving donors by developing and advancing meaningful relationships through strategic cultivation, personalized communication, and ongoing stewardship.

Conduct regular donor meetings, calls, and site visits to identify opportunities, deepen engagement, and move donors through the planned giving pipeline.

Collaborate with the marketing team to execute planned giving communications strategies, ensuring targeted outreach is timely, materials are accurate and up to date, communication metrics are tracked and analyzed, and messaging is refined based on performance data and donor engagement trends.

Collaborate with the Individual Giving and Events teams to plan and execute annual planned giving cultivation and stewardship events, while strategically engaging current and prospective planned giving donors through site visits, signature events, and other donor engagement opportunities to strengthen relationships and advance giving.
