Manager, Operations
Responsible for managing and overseeing overall yard and weld train operations including finance, manufacturing, engineering, materials, maintenance, safety and quality while making recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
* Manage departmental and facility operating budgets, expenses and systems to meet or exceed the AOP targets.
* Lead in continual improvement process of safety/environmental, quality, manufacturing, equipment upgrades, and plant administrative functions and personnel policies.
* Facilitate and lead the development of procedures and systems specific to meeting customer needs and satisfaction, timeliness and delivery of goods and services.
* Oversee the hourly EE status of hiring, firing, training, transfers, and incentives, and HR policy.
* Facilitate and lead safety training, investigations, and positive preventative behavior.
* Provide both direct and indirect [continual] training for staff – leadership training, function training and career training.
* Ensure 100% compliance in environmental and safety regulations
Experience, Education, & License Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
* 7 years of experience in manufacturing supervisory role.
* Strong organizational skills, decision making skills, interpersonal skills
* Understanding of general accounting practice.
* The ability to demonstrate knowledge of Lean principles, Six-sigma and manufacturing best practices.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Experience
Required
* 7 - 10 years: Experience in Manufacturing Supervisory Role.
Education
Preferred
* Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field
