Behavioral Health Therapist - Primary Care and Inpatient Psychiatry

Work Schedule :

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position, scheduled Monday through Friday.

4/8/10 hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay :


* This position may be eligible for a $3000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to split their time between collaborative care and inpatient psychiatry.

Responsibilities are as follows:



* Primary/Collaborative care
+ Collaborate with other medical professionals in a fast-paced environment.
+ Work as a team with the primary care staff and team psychiatrist helping deliver brief interventions for adult patients, in Primary Care.
+ Provide short, but intense follow-up.
+ Use outcome-based models to track patient improvement.


* Inpatient Psychiatry
+ Evaluate patients with a wide range of mental health diagnoses.
+ Collaborate with the patient and multi-disciplinary team on individualized treatment plans with specific goals and outcomes.
+ Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, nurses, and psychologists in group therapy program development.
+ Provide individual and group psychotherapy, utilizing multiple modalities and methods consistent with evidence-based practice with a focus on crisis stabilization.

Qualifications



* Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other behavioral health related field Required

Work Experience



* 2 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults Required


* 5 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Licensed Clinical Social Worker Upon Hire Required or


* Licensed Professional Counselor Upon Hire Required or


* Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Upon Hire Required and
