Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Full-Time (Night Shift, 7p7a) Location: Allendale Behavioral Health - Fort Wayne, IN Schedule: Full-Time | Three Rotating 12-Hour Night Shifts (7p7a) About Us We are a residential mental health treatment center providing compassionate care to adults recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and caring Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our night shift team.

The ideal candidate will provide daily support to patients, maintain a structured and positive environment, and ensure patient safety while working closely with our clinical and medical staff.

Responsibilities Build positive relationships with patients and assist with daily living tasks Supervise and document patient activities and whereabouts at all times Support patients during detox and recovery while maintaining professional boundaries Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and Title 42 CFR Monitor facility safety, cleanliness, and organization Record patient observations, behaviors, and interactions accurately in EMR (KIPU experience preferred) Report behavioral or medical concerns promptly to nursing or clinical staff Assist with group attendance, transportation, and recreational activities Respond appropriately to safety and emergency situations Attend regular staff meetings and trainings Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; additional training or certification in behavioral health preferred One year of experience in a behavioral health, addiction treatment, or related setting preferred Valid, unexpired drivers license required Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills Proficient with basic computer programs (Google Suite, Microsoft Office) Schedule Full-Time | Three 12-Hour Night Shifts (7p7a) Rotating weekends and holidays required Benefits 100% employer-paid health insurance premiums for employees Nightly shift differential Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Supportive team environment and opportunities for growth
