Program Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure successful program implementation, including meeting operational targets and achieving or exceeding performance objectives.

Ensure that approaches are technically sound and effective at impacting programs coverage and quality.

Prioritize technical assistance needs, develop and ensure the implementation of realistic and effective action plans for meeting those needs.

Work closely with ethnic and community-based health partners.

Ensure that ethnic and community health organization stakeholders are consulted and help shape the project based on knowledge of community health interventions.

This includes approaches to service delivery, governance structures, workforce models, and health information systems.

Facilitate effective communication between relevant partners and stakeholders.

Develop reports and presentations for dissemination to internal and external audiences.

Lead efforts to translate data and findings into programmatic guidance and policy advocacy.

Represent NTACHC in meetings with donors and partners and provide technical assistance to partners in designing and implementing their work plans and budgets.

Oversee and monitor program budgets.

Provide technical support and guidance on key program approaches.

Work closely with the Director of HIM (Health Information Management) and Chief Medical Officer to support project goals.

Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Business Operations.

TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP Provide strategic and technical direction for NTACHCs ancillary programs, including to identify, secure and/or adapt resources (Techni rights-based, institutional and individual).

Serve as technical lead for the development and submission of successful proposals to expand the quality and scope of the program.

Lead programs project design and program planning, including the selection of appropriate methodologies for program implementation, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation (i.e.: identifying key indicators), and supporting relevant research and/or survey methodologies).

Foster organizational learning and cross pollination of promising practices throughout the organization as well as between NTACHC and partners through sharing information electronically, via workshops, tool kits, compilation documents, etc.

Promote Relationship building by: (a) identifying key contacts and ensuring good relationships with potential and existing funders, technical resources, etc.

(b) identifying and building relationships with strategic institutional partners, (c) maintaining existing and building new relationships with community-based health organization partners, and (d) developing and maintaining strong relationships with community health counterparts.

Ensure technical quality of grant reports, publications, or presentations.
