Classification: Non-exempt Compensation: The hourly payrate for this position is $18.

It is an exciting time at Buckley as we growjoin us! Summary: The Co-Op program consists of a length of time in each of the Engineering, Estimating, Sales and Shop/Service divisions of the company to learn the workflow of an HVAC client solution.

Essential Functions: Engineering Department: The goal of the Engineering Co-Op rotation is to introduce students to how our team supports consulting engineers in the design and specification of HVAC systems.

During their time with the engineering group, the co-op will assist with basic equipment selections, review mechanical schedules, and learn how airflow, static pressure, and system performance influence equipment choices.

Estimating Department: The goal of the Estimating Co-Op rotation is to introduce students to how our estimating department reads HVAC blueprints, what information is required to set up a project before starting a takeoff, using pricing programs to provide accurate estimates, and knowing what information is required to put together equipment descriptions for different projects bidding.

Sales Department: The goal of the Sales Co-Op rotation is to introduce students to the basic principles of a sales contract; including details such as the equipment or service being sold, the purchase price plus extra stipulations, delivery terms, payment terms, warranties or guarantees.

Manufacturing/Service Department: The goal of the Manufacturing/Service Co-Op rotation is to introduce students to the Hanover shop and allow them to be exposed to the work environment and learn what might be expected in the field.

Then, with safety in mind, will go to service meetings or job sites to see the products and customer solutions in action.

After completing each section of the Co-Op and before moving to the next division, the Co-Op will do a brief presentation on what they accomplished in the last area.
