Substitute Teacher

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Substitute Teacher to support our Early Childhood Education program.

The Substitute Teacher provides temporary classroom coverage when regular teaching staff are absent and helps ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children ages 25, is flexible and adaptable, and understands the importance of creating positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

The Substitute Teacher will implement classroom routines and activities under the direction of the Lead Teacher and/or Center Administration while maintaining a high standard of care and supervision.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all applicable New York State and NYC Department of Health and/or regulatory requirements, which may include background checks, fingerprinting, medical clearance, mandated reporter training, and other required clearances and training.
