About Western Slope Health Center

Western Slope Health Center is seeking an experienced, motivated, and relationship-focused Director of Business Development to lead our marketing, census development, referral relations, community outreach, and public relations initiatives.

This is a key leadership position responsible for developing and executing strategies that strengthen Western Slope Health Center's presence in the community, build lasting relationships with healthcare referral partners, support census growth, and promote the services and programs available to our residents.

The ideal candidate is an outgoing and strategic relationship builder who understands healthcare business development and enjoys connecting with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, healthcare professionals, families, community organizations, and other referral partners.
What You'll Do


* Develop, coordinate, direct, and administer comprehensive business development, marketing, and public relations programs for Western Slope Health Center.


* Develop and implement strategies designed to maintain and increase facility census.


* Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, healthcare providers, senior living communities, community organizations, civic leaders, residents, and families.


* Develop and maintain a current database of referral sources, community partners, and other key contacts.


* Identify new referral and business development opportunities throughout the local healthcare and community markets.


* Establish a consistent outreach program designed to develop new relationships and strengthen existing referral partnerships.


* Represent Western Slope Health Center at healthcare networking events, community events, professional organizations, civic activities, and other appropriate functions.


* Develop and maintain marketing materials, brochures, information packets, presentations, newsletters, and other promotional materials.


* Ensure all public-facing information accurately and completely describes the services and programs offered by the facility.


* Collaborate with the Administrator and department directors to develop and implement effective marketing and business development strategies.


* Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to promote excellent customer service and a positive experience for residents and families.


* Assist with the development, implementation, and tracking of customer satisfaction surveys and improvement initiatives.


* Monitor community and healthcare industry trends that may affect referral relationships, facility reputation, census, and business development.
