Position Overview

As part of the global diversified building materials group, CRH, Americas Materials (AMAT) is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Financial Analyst within the Corporate Finance team based in Atlanta, GA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, analyzing and maintaining key financial reporting and metrics for company leadership.

Key Responsibilities



* Distribution of monthly cost summary reporting


* Coordinate reviews with corporate cost center owners relating to actuals/forecast as needed


* Perform month end closing activities as directed


* Assist with management analysis & reporting submissions


* Partner with Corporate FP&A on reviewing and analyzing monthly forecasts and annual budget


* Preparation of ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for senior management


* Prepare for and respond to internal and external audit requests


* Assist with quarterly financial reporting submissions (US GAAP and IFRS)


* Lead annual budget collection, consolidation and review for the corporate entities


* Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to increase productivity that optimizes data efficiency and quality


* Maintain professional demeanor at all times while representing the company


* Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required


* Ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

Education/Experience



* Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field


* 3+ years' experience in general finance and accounting areas or in industry


* Previous relevant experience in an operations/manufacturing environment preferred

Work Requirements



* Must have high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


* Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting resources.


* Must be 18 years in age or older.


* Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.


* Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.


* Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.


* Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements



* Strong financial background essential


* Knowledge of financial reporting and consolidation systems such as Hyperion Financial Manager or Hyperion Planning preferred


* Demonstrate strong technical and functional abilities in all areas of financial analysis
