As Human Resources Advisor, you’ll play an important role in supporting the colleagues who bring our world-class island resort to life.
Working closely with the Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Manager, you’ll be a trusted partner to leaders and colleagues, providing practical HR advice, supporting the employee journey and helping create a workplace where people can thrive.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and making a real difference.
You’ll work across everything from HR processes and employee support to compliance, immigration and policy, while managing competing priorities with confidence and discretion.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to managers and colleagues on policies, procedures and people-related matters.
* Maintain and administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring documents remain current, compliant and accessible.
* Prepare workforce reports and people analytics including turnover, retention, headcount, visa status, probationary reviews and engagement metrics.
* Ensure employee records, HR systems and personnel files are maintained accurately and confidentially.
* Maintain accurate records relating to immigration, visas, PALM Scheme employees, performance management and recognition programs.
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and visa obligations.
* Promote a positive, inclusive and service-driven culture aligned with InterContinental Hotels Group values.
* Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety and other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and InterContinental Hotels Group policies and procedures.
* Facilitate the reporting of workplace hazards to the person(s) who can implement corrective action.
Salary rate $85,000.00 + super

To be successful in this full-time role, you’ll have:
* Formal qualification in Human Resource Management.
* Demonstrated experience within Human Resources of at least 1 year.
* Strong understanding of the Industrial Relations, Employment Relations and Fair Work Act.
