Aftermarket Intern
Position Purpose
The Aftermarket Intern supports the Americas Aftermarket team by assisting both the Applications Engineering and Customer Service functions.
This role provides hands-on experience in technical support, customer service operations, sales support, business systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The intern will help improve the speed and quality of information provided to BAC representatives and customers while gaining exposure to engineering, sales, operations, supply chain, and customer support processes.
Based on responsibilities described in the Aftermarket Applications Lead, Customer Service Specialist, and Inside Account Lead roles.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Applications Engineers with quote preparation, technical data collection, product documentation, and engineering-related administrative tasks.
* Assist Customer Service Leads with order status requests, lead-time inquiries, shipment tracking, and customer support follow-up activities.
* Help maintain aftermarket reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
* Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Warranty, and Engineering teams to gather information and support issue resolution.
* Support continuous improvement and process documentation projects across the Aftermarket organization.
* Assist with training materials, sales tools, and customer-facing documentation updates.
* Utilize SAP, CRM, and other business systems to research information and support daily operations.
* Perform additional project and administrative support activities as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
* Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Interest in customer service, technical sales support, operations, or engineering.

* Provides timely and accurate support to Applications Engineers and Customer Service Leads.
* Demonstrates ownership and attention to detail.
* Contributes to process improvements that increase team efficiency.
* Develops a strong understanding of BAC products, customers, and aftermarket business processes.
BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28 per hour.
BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
