Mechanical Engineering Intern, Americas

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:


* 3D CAD sheet metal design and drafting of mechanical components and assemblies


* Drawing conversion from AutoCAD to Autodesk Inventor  


* Sheet metal Part design, analysis, debug and rework


* Report preparation and presentation at the end of the project


* All activities will be designed to give the intern a full understanding of the BAC engineering design and insight into fabrication

 

QUALIFICATIONS:


* Pursing a Bachelors (Junior or above) in Mechanical Engineering or related field


* Mechanical Design skills and understanding of mechanical design practices


* Must be mechanically inclined and be able to visualize mechanical (spatial) relationships


* 3D Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) experience (i.e.

Autodesk Inventor)


* Thorough understanding of AutoCAD


* Sheet Metal design experience preferred


* Autodesk Vault knowledge preferred


* Previous internship experience preferred

 

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28 per hour. 

BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
