Electrician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving production line efficiency through electrical and mechanical support.

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm Training Schedule: You will initially work on day shift while completing on-the-job training.

Responsibilities: Install, service, and repair all premise wiring and electrical on production lines.Troubleshoot computer systems associated with the production lines.Possess working knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).Collaborate with millwrights on troubleshooting and emergency maintenance.Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service records for all machinery.Assist millwrights with cutting, welding, steel fabrication, and equipment installation/removal.Support plumbing, carpentry, and general facility maintenance as needed.Repair, service and install hydraulic systems, conveyor and power transmission systems, and pneumatic systems.Work with vendors to order parts and maintain appropriate inventory levels.Maintain and repair all mobile and rolling stock.Perform general clean-up and ensure a safe, organized work environment.Troubleshoot and repair all facets of production lines and associated equipment.

Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial maintenance.Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting and repair.Hands-on experience with PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting.Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.Willing and able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions.Prior background in wood manufacturing is strongly preferred, though not required.

Work Environment: The environment can be loud, dusty, hot, or cold depending on seasonal conditions.
