Specialist, Divisional Credit
Job Description
The Divisional Credit Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting sales-driven credit initiatives, including promotional programs, tool installment initiatives, and related divisional projects.
This role partners closely with Divisional Credit Managers, BTSSC teams, Commercial Credit leadership, sales leadership, field sales teams, Marketing, SFA, Pricing, Rebates and other credit operations teams to help support promotions, program execution, monitor performance, support reporting needs, and drive process improvements that strengthen business results and customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate divisional promotional programs, tool installment initiatives, and other sales-driven credit projects from planning through execution.
* Partner with Divisional Credit Managers to support credit-related functions, reporting, customer account reviews, and process updates.
* Track program performance, identify trends, and provide timely updates, reporting, and recommendations to leadership and business partners.
* Collaborate with sales, field leadership, credit operations, collections, cash applications, disputes, and other cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and successful implementation.
* Analyze financial, sales, customer, and activity data to identify opportunities, improve program effectiveness, and support sound business decisions.
* Assist with developing, improving, and documenting processes that increase efficiency, consistency, and customer service across the division.
* Prepare project updates, performance summaries, training materials, and presentations for leadership and field teams.
* Monitor deadlines, project milestones, deliverables, and follow-up actions to ensure timely completion of assigned initiatives.
* Serve as a central point of contact for assigned credit projects, ensuring clear communication, issue resolution, and accountability across stakeholders.
* Support special projects, reporting requests, and additional credit-related initiatives as assigned.
* The preferred candidate should demonstrate strong project leadership, comprehensive knowledge of credit programs, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
This individual must have the capability to communicate priorities with clarity, support process improvements, and be comfortable with developing accurate, timely reporting and professional business resources, including training materials, performance reports, and presentations.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in business management, Accounting, Finance, Management, or equivalent experience
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial credit, financial operations, project coordination, sales support, or a related business function
