Banquet Bartender

Banquet Bartender Start Your Journey with Midas Hospitality: Midas Hospitality is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Banquet Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences by providing professional beverage service during banquets, meetings, weddings, social events, and other hotel functions.

The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with guests, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent hospitality while maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and professionalism.

What You Will Be Doing: As a Banquet Bartender, you will provide efficient and friendly beverage service while supporting the successful execution of hotel events.

Responsibilities include: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, company standards, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests promptly and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Accurately take beverage orders and process transactions using POS systems when required.

Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area before, during, and after events.

Set up and break down banquet bars, including arranging glassware, supplies, garnishes, and beverage displays.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.

Verify guest identification and comply with all federal, state, and local alcohol service laws.

Promote food and beverage offerings through suggestive selling and upselling techniques.

Prepare garnishes and ensure all beverage presentation standards are met.

Work collaboratively with banquet servers, culinary teams, and hotel leadership to ensure seamless event execution.

Respond to guest questions, concerns, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.

Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests.

Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures.

Participate in inventory counts and additional Food & Beverage duties as assigned.

What You Bring: Must meet the legal age requirements to serve alcohol in the state where the hotel is located.

Previous bartending, banquet, restaurant, hotel, or Food & Beverage experience preferred.

Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service practices.

Strong guest service and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Ability to handle cash, operate POS systems, and accurately process transactions.

A professional appearance and commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying throughout the workday.
