Surgical First Assist - PRN

The Surgical First Assist works closely with surgeons in the operating room to facilitate their daily case schedule.

They anticipate the needs of the surgical team during the operation, assisting the surgeon with tasks such as positioning the patient, identifying equipment needs, helping with exposure, stopping bleeding, closing the incision, leading the operating room staff in preparation, post-operative fitting such as casting and splinting, among other technical tasks.

This position is PRN (4-5 shifts per month)
