Land Surveyor Entry-level

As an Entry-Level Land Surveyor,you'll help collect and analyze the data that serves as the foundation for engineering design and construction projects.

For more information, visit: www.gpinet.com Responsibilities: Assist with field surveys for boundary, topographic, construction, utility, and ALTA/NSPS projects.Operate surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, data collectors, and levels.Collect accurate field measurements and survey data.Perform construction stakeout and field layout activities.Assist in preparing survey maps, plats, sketches, and legal descriptions.Conduct deed and boundary research using public records and survey databases.Process and verify field data using surveying software.Support drone, LiDAR, and reality capture efforts when applicable.Maintain survey equipment and vehicles.Follow established safety procedures during field operations.Coordinate with survey crews, engineers, project managers, and clients.Assist with quality control reviews of survey deliverables.
Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.Internship, co-op, or prior surveying experience is a plus.Basic understanding of surveying principles and field procedures.Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson Survey, or similar software preferred.Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrain.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Survey Technician certification or interest in pursuing Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure.Experience with GPS/GNSS technology and data collection software.Familiari...
