Entry-Level Application Process: Entry-level Police Officers Application is a two-step process including an application and testing.

The required exam is administered by National Testing Network (NTN), and the City's application must be filled out on the City website.

The City's online application must be completed, and all required materials submitted via the web portal by the closing date noted on an open recruitment.

You must create an account and fill out all required information, answer supplemental questions, and submit a resume.

Pre-Employment Testing--The Lincoln City Police Department works with the National Testing Network in an ongoing recruitment effort.

If no positions are currently open, applications will be kept on file until an opening occurs.

Upon completion of the entry-level exam, all candidate scores are automatically forwarded to the Lincoln City Police and Human Resources Departments.
