Senior Marketplace Specialist (APAC)

Dragon Shield is seeking an experienced Marketplace Specialist to lead the global expansion of the Dragon Shield brand across some of the largest regional marketplaces (Amazon, Rakuten, Shopee, Tmall Global) to support the company's international expansion strategy.
You'll develop and execute growth strategies tailored to each region, drive operational excellence, and safeguard the integrity and profitability of our brand on the platform.
This role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, working closely with internal teams and external partners to bring it to life.
This position is remote, open globally but candidates must have a strong understanding of the Japanese market, culture, and language.

Key Responsibilities: Global Marketplace Growth Build, manage, and scale our global Amazon presence across multiple regions and marketplaces.Create and execute Amazon-specific growth and marketing strategies aligned with brand and business goals.Adapt content and strategies to fit local market needs and ensure successful international rollouts.
Operations & Cross-Team Coordination Oversee daily operations across marketplaces, ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams, agencies, and Amazon, and maintaining accurate data in SX.e.Serve as the primary contact for Amazon support and internal issue escalation.Manage external agency and marketing partners, including performance check-ins, reporting alignment, and optimizing Amazon Ads budget and performance.
Brand & Content Management Manage brand stores and product listings; monitor account health and maintain product range on platformsManage FBA inventory capacity and coordinate replenishment needs with partnersProvide channel-specific product insights to the Product Development team.
Data, Insights & Reporting Lead data analysis and reporting across markets and platforms, interpreting insights into actionable recommendations, including sales forecasts and channel-specific projections.Conduct monthly syncs with the Customer Service team to identify customer trends, feedback, and opportunities for improvement.
Brand Protection Monitor third-party sellers, pricing behavior, counterfeit activity, and bad actors to protect brand integrity.
Qualifications: Required 6+ years of experience managing Amazon marketplaces on a global scale (in-house or as a senior consultant), with a proven track record of scaling brands internationally through strategic, data-driven execution.Strong understanding of Japanese market dynamics, business culture, and language...
