Project Manager – Lead Commercial Builds in Hancock County

* Compensation: $80,000–$120,000 salary + annual bonus 


* Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday.


* Project Scope: Commercial General Construction.


* Mandatory Licences & Certifications: None Required.

You will take ownership of commercial projects by keeping schedules on track, managing critical submittals, and ensuring field supervisors hit their milestones.

How You Will Make an Impact


* Create, manage, and enforce overall project schedules to ensure field teams hit critical completion deadlines.


* Process submittals, RFIs, and project requisitions to maintain steady project momentum.


* Coordinate and lead regular project meetings with subcontractors, field supervisors, and project stakeholders.


* Maintain clear and consistent daily communication with subcontractors to align jobsite expectations.


* Monitor field operations to ensure supervisors strictly adhere to approved construction schedules.


* Collaborate with estimating and project management teams to keep overall project costs in check.

Required Qualifications & Experience


* Minimum of 8 years of experience managing government construction projects from initiation through closeout.


* High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite & Procore or comparable project management software programs.


* Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple complex submittals concurrently.


* Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with subcontractors, clients, and field staff.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience


* Direct experience performing or supporting commercial construction estimating and quantity takeoffs.


* Background managing commercial, institutional, or public-sector projects within the regional Maine market.


* Demonstrated track record of managing project schedules and subcontractor relationships effectively.
