Summary - basic function of the role

Supervises the daily activities of the indirect material handler and spider.

Train the staff personnel and supervise their work to ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, policies, deadlines, also helps in resolving any issues.

Responsible for evaluating the performance of the employees.

Shift: Monday - Friday

Job Duties and Responsibilities



* Coordinate and oversee the daily cycle counts of the various inventory assets


* Investigate, identify, and reconcile the cycle count discrepancies, i.e., shortages as well as overages


* Take care of the inventory areas by organizing and maintaining efficient material handling and storage


* Implement and maintain policies and procedures related to inventory control


* Work in tandem with various departments and maintain flexible attitude supporting all the work that helps in achieving organizational goals


* Ensure that all the employees work towards achieving the objectives related to inventory control management and make suggestions for improvement to management staff


* Authorize all adjustments for the warehouse made to the inventory


* Provide direct supervision to the material handlers and spiders, including evaluating performance and giving direction


* Maintain Workflow's relevant to inventory and assembly lines


* Implement rack audits and zero locater.


* Assist in reconciliation of Sub-Inventories


* Ensure timely picking of tasks


* Maintain Quality tasks related to adjustments


* Maintain Slob inventory as needed


* Support Continuous Improvement


* Maintain training standards
