RN Part Time

Salinas Valley Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time, PRN / On-Call position.

We are looking for an adaptable nursing professional with open availability across the week, including all shifts (days, evenings, and nights) on both weekdays and weekends.

Position Overview



* Job Type: Part-Time / PRN (On-Call)



* Compensation: $49.00 - $54.00 per hour (depending on experience)



* Location: Salinas, CA



* Schedule: Flexible shifts; requires open availability for weekdays, weekends, and various shift times.

Key Responsibilities



* Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a post-acute and rehabilitation setting.



* Assess patient health problems, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.



* Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide wound care or other specialized treatments as prescribed.



* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient recovery and outcomes.



* Supervise and guide Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on shift.



* Respond promptly to on-call requests and fill shift vacancies to ensure safe staffing levels.

Qualifications



* Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.



* Current BLS/CPR certification.



* True open availability across the week, including readiness to work days, evenings, nights, weekdays, and weekends.



* Previous experience in post-acute, skilled nursing, or long-term care preferred but not required.



* Strong clinical assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills.



* Ability to adapt quickly to changing floor assignments and patient needs.
