Office Coordinator-Ministry & Evangelism

ME Office Coordinator Role Description

The Ministry and Evangelism Office Coordinator serves to support the Ministry and Evangelism graduate programs.

This is a 15/hr a week position and pays $22/hr.

Some of the ME office coordinator's responsibilities include:

Hiring/Compensation


* Communicating with and hiring/compensating adjunct faculty via Oracle or nextSource


* Submitting supplemental and overload payments for full-time faculty


* Submitting outside vendor requests for supplemental outside workers compensation


* Work with Dave Pederson to pay adjunct faculty/outside vendors for online course content creation


* Different kinds of compensation:


* ICPs (employees of Wheaton)


* non-PO payment requests (individual outside vendors)


* Fixed Price Services Requisition for a PO (nextSource hires, organization outside vendors)

Course Scheduling


* Submitting schedule requests/changes to the registrar each semester


* Canceling courses if low enrollment


* Editing load sheets for each academic year


* CIM catalog edits

Faculty Support


* Requesting and uploading syllabi from faculty for each semester (into Box)


* Requesting and uploading textbook adoptions from faculty each semester (into Follett)


* Communicating with adjunct faculty teaching in-person week-long intensive courses


* Acquiring and prepping classrooms with refreshments for intensive classes


* Scheduling AIT to help with internet set-up on first day of class

Other Administrative Tasks


* Collaborate with other Divinity School OCs and Dean's assistant to complete the Annual Report


* Promotion/tenure/ten-year reviews

Professional Qualifications
1.

Education: B.A.

degree required; familiarity with theological vocabulary an asset
2.

Self-motivated and dedicated to excellence
3.

Professional Skills: strong organizational skills, excellent computer skills, and clear communication skills
4.

Ability to multitask and to take initiative; familiarity with higher education
5.

Interpersonal skills: professional appearance and personal demeanor
6.

Ability to facilitate a warm and friendly office atmosphere
