At APV, we Always Provide Value POSITION SUMMARY The 508 Compliance and Quality Assurance Specialist will independently evaluate and help assure the accessibility, completeness, consistency, and production quality of training products.

Working with instructional designers, technical writers, graphic artists, eLearning and multimedia specialists, subject matter experts, instructors, and project leadership, this role will test electronic course materials and online learning products against applicable Section 508 and WCAG requirements and perform structured quality reviews throughout the course lifecycle.

The specialist will document findings, verify corrections, maintain objective quality records, and support submission of accurate, accessible, macro-free, editable deliverables that meet client standards and are ready for Government acceptance and use.

DUTIES Plan and conduct Section 508 and quality-assurance reviews for instructor guides, student guides and manuals, presentations, job aids, handouts, practice exercises, assessments, evaluation instruments, reports, plans, eLearning, and other electronic deliverables.Test all final electronic course materials and online modules for conformance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, 36 CFR Part 1194, applicable WCAG Level A and AA criteria, and client-provided accessibility standards.Evaluate Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, PDF, and digital-learning products using appropriate automated tools and manual inspection, including keyboard-only operation and assistive-technology checks when applicable.Review headings, reading order, navigation, links, tables, lists, form controls, alternative text, captions, transcripts, color contrast, non-color-dependent meaning, document properties, language settings, and other accessibility features.Prepare and maintain the required Section 508 compliance checkli...
