Resort Ambassador/Access Control Supervisor
The Resort Ambassador Supervisor leads and supports the Resort Ambassador teams in the roles of Access Control & Greeters to ensure exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and effective mountain access management.
This role oversees daily operations related to providing direction, information and offerings to guests, guest flow, crowd management, line control, RFID access control, and fraud mitigation while maintaining a professional, guest-focused environment.
This supervisor is responsible for training and developing staff, resolving escalated guest and operational issues, and ensuring all team members uphold Taos Ski Valley's standards for professionalism, safety, accuracy, and hospitality.
This position works closely with Mountain Services leadership and other resort departments to deliver a seamless guest experience across all mountain access points and ticketing operations.
Much of the day-to-day work within the Resort Ambassador team is accomplished through the leadership and direction of two forepersons.

Essential Job Responsibilities: Lead and support the Resort Ambassador teams through direct oversight of forepersons.
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, schedule, and develop seasonal staff.
Develop and facilitate preseason orientations and ongoing training programs focused on guest service, operational procedures, sales systems and fulfillment, offerings, RFID validation, fraud mitigation, safety, and conflict resolution.
Monitor team performance and conduct seasonal check-ins, coaching, and performance reviews.
Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment consistent with Taos Ski Valley's Vision, Purpose, and Values.
Ensure all staff deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Develop and implement strategies to improve guest flow, validation efficiency, crowd management, and overall guest experience.
Manage lift lines in base areas and on mountain, ticket office lines, pick-up box (PUB) areas, and perform crowd control during high-volume operations.
Handle escalated guest concerns, operational issues, technical malfunctions, and team conflicts with professionalism and sound judgment.
Ensure accurate validation of lift tickets, season passes, and partner products.
