Human Resources Generalist

Achievement House Cyber Charter School is seeking a detailed-oriented, well-roundedHuman Resources Generalist topartner closely with the Director of Human Resources and support a positive, supportive, and well-run employee experience.

The Generalist will serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and leaders, providing day-to-day support across the employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, benefits, payroll support, compliance, performance management, and offboarding.

The Human Resources Generalist brings a solutions-oriented approach to HR, helping employees and leaders navigate questions, processes, and workplace needs while identifying opportunities to improve how we work.

This role combines strong HR knowledge, attention to detail, sound judgement, and a genuine commitment to providing a VIP experience to our employees and school community.

Responsibilities HR Operations & Employee Support Serve as the primary point of contact for routine employee HR questions and request, providing timely, solutions-oriented support.

Assist employees and leaders with HR policies, procedures, programs, and routine employee relations matters; escalate complex, sensitive, or high-risk issues to the Director of Human Resources.

Process routine employment documentation, employment verifications, employee changes, and other HR transactions.

Proactively identify employee concerns, operational challenges, and opportunities for process improvement, recommending solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness and satisfaction among employees and leaders.

Employee Experience & Engagement Support initiatives that promote a positive employee experience, including employee communications, engagement, recognition, wellness, and retention activities.Gather employee feedback and assist in identifying opportunities to strengthen workplace culture, employee satisfaction, and overall engagement.

HR Compliance & Records Support HR compliance activities by maintaining required employee records, postings, training, certifications, acknowledgements, and documentation.

Assist with audits, unemployment claims, investigations, reporting, and other compliance-related activities under the direction of the Director of Human Resources.

Monitor assigned compliance requirements and escalate potential concerns or changes in employment regulations to the Director of Human Resources.

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of employee, medical, payroll, and organizational information.

Payroll, Timekeeping & Benefits Support bi-weekly payroll processing activities by reviewing timesheets and assisting with payroll-related transactions, including stipends, bonuses, compensation changes, new hires, and separations.

Maintain accurate HRIS/payroll information and communicate employee changes to the Director of Payroll Services.
