Are you ready to make an impact? Job Summary: The Catalog & Print Production Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of School Specialty's catalog and print marketing programs.
This role manages the end-to-end workflow for seasonal catalogs and print initiatives, partnering with internal teams and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.
As a key member of the Marketing Operations team, this position coordinates complex, cross-functional projects involving Marketing, Merchandising, Creative Services, Product Management, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and third-party suppliers.
Success in this role requires strong project management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to drive results through collaboration and influence.
Work Location: This is a work-from-home role.
Qualified applicants must reside in the United States.
Compensation Information: Annual salary range of $75,000.00-$90,000.00 with a defined annual incentive plan.
What youll do: Catalog Program Management Lead the planning and execution of seasonal catalog production schedules.
Partner with print suppliers and internal stakeholders to establish timelines, milestones, and production deadlines.
Coordinate activities across multiple departments to ensure catalog content, approvals, and files are delivered according to schedule.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution to keep projects on track.
Facilitate project meetings and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
Support catalog fulfillment, inventory coordination, and distribution activities.
Print Production & Vendor Management Manage production of catalogs, brochures, flyers, direct mail, signage, trade show materials, and other printed marketing assets.
Coordinate with print, mailing, and fulfillment partners to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
Develop production specifications and manufacturing instructions.
Review proofs and production materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
Build strong vendor relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout production.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to align priorities and meet project objectives.
Lead project discussions, coordinate deliverables, and facilitate issue resolution.
Influence outcomes and drive accountability without direct supervisory responsibility.
Serve as a trusted subject matter expert for catalog and print production initiatives.
