JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direction of the Assistant Manager of Fleet Services, the Fleet Services Supervisor oversees the maintenance, repair, servicing, and readiness of Authority vehicles and equipment.
This position supervises Fleet Services Technicians, Service Crew personnel, and other assigned staff; prioritizes and assigns work; ensures compliance with safety and maintenance standards; and supports the efficient operation of fleet services activities.
The Fleet Services Supervisor coordinates daily operations, monitors work quality and productivity, manages staffing and resources, and serves as a first-line supervisor responsible for employee performance, training, and labor relations matters.
This is a safety-sensitive position.

Fleet Operations and Maintenance Plan and coordinate staffing, schedules, overtime, and workload assignments to ensure operational requirements and vehicle availability needs are met.
Provide technical leadership and guidance in diagnosing and resolving complex maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting issues.
Inspect completed repairs and maintenance activities and authorize vehicle release for service when established standards have been met.
Monitor and evaluate the work of contractors and vendors performing fleet-related maintenance and support services.
Respond to emergencies, road calls, and operational disruptions, making timely decisions to maintain service continuity.
Supervision and Leadership Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching, counseling, and development opportunities.
Participate in recruitment, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and retention of assigned employees.
Interpret and administer collective bargaining agreements, personnel policies, and work rules, serving as the first level of employee dispute resolution.
