Position Summary The Financial Education Officer is responsible for coordinating and engaging with schools and various community groups to provide financial education.
Key responsibilities include providing educational services that empower individuals to make informed financial decisions, ensuring relevant financial materials are provided, and supporting community/in-school events.
This role focuses on increasing brand awareness delivering valuable education to community partners.
Key Responsibilities Lead workshops, seminars, and presentations on key financial topics, such as budgeting, credit, savings, and debt management, to help individuals make informed financial decisions.
Create and provide relevant, accessible, and engaging financial education materials for use in schools, community centers, and online platforms.
Act as the primary point of contact for schools and community organizations, fostering strong partnerships to support ongoing financial education efforts.
Increase brand awareness by promoting the credit union's financial products and services at community and in-school events.
Monitor the success of financial literacy programs by gathering feedback and tracking participation.
Continuously research new trends in financial education and update programs and materials to ensure they reflect the latest best practices and tools.
Participate in community-based and in-school events.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
