Position Summary This role is responsible for planning construction projects and overseeing their progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner.

This includes budgeting, organizing, implementing and scheduling projects.

The person will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

With your keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, you will ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline and budget work well independently while collaborating closely with supervisors or managers.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with engineers, architects etc.

to determine the specifications of the projectNegotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreementsObtain permits and licenses from appropriate authoritiesDetermine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitationsPlan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be metAcquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequaciesHire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilitiesSupervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc.

and give them guidance when neededEvaluate progress and prepare detailed reportsEnsure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issuesResponsible for the promotion of a safe, productive, and professional job site through adhering to all policies and procedures in the HBI company handbook, the HBI safety handbook, and all applicable laws and building codesStrong Preference given to local candidatesMaintain a close relationship with owners and other stakeholders Qualifications and Requirements Proven working experience in construction managementAdvanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methodsExpert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standardsUnderstanding of all facets of the construction processFamiliarity with construction management software packagesAbility to plan and see the big pictureCompetence in conflict and crisis managementKnowledge of Procore, Excel and MS Project.Leadership and human resources management skillsExcellent time and project management skills
