Service Writer Clear Creek RVs | Abilene, Texas Clear Creek RVs is looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Service Writer to join our service team.

This position serves as the primary connection between our customers and service technicians, helping to ensure repairs are communicated clearly, scheduled efficiently, and completed with a high level of customer care.

Our Service Writers play an important role in the customer experience.

We are looking for someone who communicates well, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, follows through on commitments, and is comfortable working with customers, technicians, manufacturers, and warranty companies.

Responsibilities Greet service customers and determine their repair and maintenance needs.Create and manage repair orders from write-up through completion.Communicate regularly with customers regarding repair status, estimates, approvals, parts delays, and completion timelines.Coordinate with technicians, the Shop Foreman, Parts Department, and Fixed Operations Director to keep work moving efficiently.Obtain customer authorization for repairs and additional work when necessary.Prepare accurate estimates and explain recommended repairs to customers.Assist with manufacturer and extended-warranty claims, approvals, and required documentation.Maintain detailed and accurate notes on repair orders and customer communication.Schedule service appointments and help manage workflow based on technician availability and repair priorities.Review completed work and repair orders before customer pickup.Keep customers informed throughout the service process rather than waiting for them to request updates.Follow Clear Creek RVs procedures for documentation, customer communication, and service follow-up.Help resolve customer concerns professionally and work with management when additional assistance is needed.

What We're Looking For The right candidate will be: Highly organized and able to manage multiple repair orders at once.An excellent communicator in person, over the phone, by text, and through email.Comfortable having conversations about repair costs, timelines, warranty coverage, and unexpected delays.Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.Able to work effectively with both customers and technicians.Comfortable using computers, dealership software, email, and other digital communication tools.Able to remain professional and solution-focused even when working with frustrated customers.Dependable, punctual, and willing to take ownership of their responsibilities.A team player who understands that Sales, Service, Parts, and Administration all contribute to the customer experience.

Previous experience as an RV Service Writer, Automotive Service Advisor, Service Coordinator, Warranty Administrator, or similar customer-service position is preferred, but RV-specific experience is not required for the right candidate.
