A Brief Overview

The Water Systems Technician is responsible for the operation, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of USP purified water systems, wastewater systems, and related utility equipment across the facility.

This role ensures water systems remain in a state of control, supporting manufacturing operations while maintaining compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.

The Water Systems Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance, conducts system sanitizations, collects samples, supports audits and inspections, and assists in maintaining facility utility systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation.

What you will do


* Perform daily monitoring and inspections of USP purified water systems, storage tanks, distribution loops, wastewater systems, and associated equipment.


* Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot resin bed, reverse osmosis (RO), deionization (DI), UV, filtration, and water distribution systems.


* Conduct routine sanitization, sterilization, flushing, and cleaning of water system equipment in accordance with approved procedures.


* Load and maintain water resin beds or other treatment materials as required.


* Monitor system performance, identify abnormalities, and respond to alarms or operational issues.


* Support water system startup, shutdown, and recovery activities.


* Collect water and wastewater samples according to established sampling plans and procedures.


* Coordinate with Quality and laboratory personnel to ensure timely testing and review of analytical results.


* Maintain water system logs, sampling records, maintenance documentation, and operational reports.
