Sales Order Specialist II

The Sales Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately processing customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient entry into the company's ERP system, and supporting the contracts and accounting teams with order-related inquiries and documentation.


* Enter sales orders into the ERP system (e.g., Infor LN) with attention to accuracy and completeness.


* Review purchase orders for compliance with company policies and contract terms.


* Communicate with contracts, accounting, and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information.


* Track order status and proactively update customers and internal stakeholders.


* Maintain electronic records of sales orders, modifications, and supporting documents.


* Assist with audits by providing order documentation and supporting materials.


* Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to sales order processing.


* Identify process improvements and contribute to workflow optimization.

Knowledge (Education/License/Certification, Prior Experience)


* High school diploma or equivalent required


* 1-2 years of experience in loading contracts into an ERP system, preferred


* Proficiency in reading government or commercial contracts.

Skills and Abilities


* High attention to detail and organizational skills.


* Experience in sales order processing, customer service, or accounting preferred.


* Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.


* Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.


* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
