Intake Coordinator / OHP Assistor

West Eugene Treatment Center is seeking an Intake Coordinator / OHP Assistor to provide compassionate care to our clients.

$22.00hr-$26.00hr Depending on experience Relocation Assistance Provided! Our treatment center hours are: 5:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.

M-F and 6:00 - 10:00 a.m.

on rotating Saturdays.

Manage incoming appointment requests, referrals, transfers, and pre-intake screenings for new clients.Coordinate admissions, including scheduling, obtaining records, verifying insurance, and following up on no-shows.Assist clients with Oregon Health Plan (OHP) eligibility, applications, renewals, and required follow-up.Help clients navigate the Oregon ONE Eligibility System and understand available health coverage.Verify private insurance and explain applicable co-pays and out-of-pocket costs.Build and maintain client charts, consents, ROIs, admission paperwork, and other required documentation.Orient new clients to the program and connect them with transportation and other community resources when appropriate.Maintain accurate, confidential documentation throughout the intake and OHP assistance process.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are: High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of general office/clerical experience.Ability to complete and maintain required OHP Assistor training/certification.Strong communication, customer service, organization, and data-entry skills.Basic computer and standard office equipment skills.Valid driver's license.Meet Oregon requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.We follow federal guidelines regarding prohibited substances, even those legal at the state level.
