The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within a specific unit and collaborates with other members of the health care team.

She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by ancillary staff.

She/he assumes house supervision duties as assigned.
