Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Demand Planning Professional - Supply Chain & Operations to support forecasting, operational planning, inventory optimization, supplier coordination, and performance analysis across our manufacturing and supply chain organization.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers to analyze key performance indicators, identify opportunities for improvement, optimize inventory and material flow, and support data-driven business decisions.
You are responsible for:
* Completing regular forecasting and operational planning across key business indicators, including production, inventory, capital expenditures, capacity requirements, and other relevant operational metrics.
* Analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, profitability, capital utilization, assets, inventory, and operational performance.
* Identifying deviations from established plans and targets, evaluating potential impacts, and developing recommendations and corrective actions.
* Performing cost and profitability analyses for specific business cases, including product launches, relocations, manufacturing footprint decisions, and other operational initiatives.
* Developing supplier forecasts and supporting the definition and optimization of logistical processes with suppliers.
* Establishing and implementing logistical requirements related to material availability, delivery, and product phase-in/phase-out activities throughout the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process.
* Planning and controlling assigned inventories and stock levels, including monitoring supply levels, making planning adjustments, analyzing inventory changes, and developing strategies to reduce excess inventory.
* Analyzing and improving logistics and manufacturing processes using operational KPIs such as cycle time, First Pass Yield (FPY), on-time delivery, effectiveness, and productivity.
* Identifying process weaknesses, determining root causes, and initiating continuous improvement activities to improve operational and supply chain performance.
* Maintaining strong working relationships and collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders involved throughout planning, manufacturing, logistics, and product lifecycle processes.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
