Data Engineer | TS/SCI

As part of Deloitte's Government & Public Services practice, you will support the delivery of data and artificial intelligence solutions that enable modernization, quality, and operational effectiveness.
This role offers the opportunity to work across mission and technical stakeholders to support digital stewardship, data governance, and workflow improvement initiatives.
Work you'll do
As a Project - Data Management Engineer III on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for supporting data stewardship, governance, and digital modernization efforts for mission-focused programs.
* Serve as a liaison for data stewardship activities across mission and technical teams.
* Coordinate with stakeholders across offices to support consistent stewardship practices and address cross-functional data issues.
* Monitor and validate data assets for quality, compliance, and alignment with established standards throughout the digital use case lifecycle.
* Map, document, and analyze data workflows and business processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data integrity.
* Gather technical requirements and user stories, identify technical gaps, and coordinate communication among technical teams, leadership, and requirements owners.

Required:

* 2+ years of experience in data governance, digital stewardship, data management, or a technical field
