Technical Project Coordinator

Position Summary


* Architect and maintain complex project schedules across multiple concurrent workstreams


* Drive disciplined meeting cadences to keep project execution on track


* Risk management: Identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and proactively addressing issues to minimize project impact.


* Own the technical tooling, integrations, and reporting infrastructure that Project Managers and Program Managers depend on for decision-making


* Configure and troubleshoot PM tooling, including scheduling systems, dashboards, and workflow automation


* Diagnose root causes of data quality and reporting gaps, and build repeatable processes that scale across the portfolio


* Proactively identify data integrity, tooling, and coordination risks before they become delivery problems


* Engage directly with technical stakeholders and represent PMO standards in cross-functional settings


* Mentor and guide junior coordinators

Skills:


* Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.)


* Advanced proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Teams)


* Ability to build and maintain dashboards, reports, and workflow automations that support portfolio-level decision-making


* Strong grasp of scheduling logic and dependency management across complex, multi-workstream projects


* Root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose data quality or process gaps and design scalable fixes


* Working knowledge of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and the ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders


* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams


* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment


* Sound judgment and the ability to exercise autonomy — knowing when to solve independently versus escalate


* Mentoring and coaching skills to support the development of junior coordinators


* Process design and documentation skills, with a focus on building repeatable, scalable practices
