As a Commercial Supply Chain (CSC) Supervisor, you would be responsible for leading day-to-day activities and executing all commercial business activities on behalf of Alcoa, in Europe.

About the role: Reporting to the Commercial Manager - Europe, you will successfully demonstrate a professional partnership with all commercial customers and suppliers, including traders and agents, with representation across multiple countries within their assigned region.

 

Core Activities:


* Directly support the Commercial Manager in driving and implementing regional initiatives and pursuing global alignment opportunities and harmonization


* The first point of contact for all customers and suppliers, including traders and agents, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained, contract obligations are met, and ensuring on-time revenue collection is completed


* Provide on-time, accurate information, and respond to customer communications such as logistical updates, questions, concerns, and general communications


* Supervise, coach, and support a team of Commercial Supply Chain Specialists - located in Madrid, Spain and Rotterdam, the Netherlands, ensuring the successful and on-time performance of Alcoa’s commercial contract obligations specifically related to Alcoa’s sales, purchasing, and trade activities and transactions


* Lead a team of highly skilled specialists, ensuring each critical task has backup and support


* Champion and lead continuous process improvement opportunities with a priority to remove non-value processes


* Provide accurate, transparent, and timely information to internal stakeholders for forecasting production, revenue, logistics, and delivery requirements (Sales, Transportation, Metal Control, Accounts and Production Plants)

What you can bring to the role:


* With your bachelor’s degree in business administration or commerce, you will be able to ensure all commercial contract obligations are met, managing critical processes related to order-to-cash transactions, on-time product delivery, revenue collection, and customer satisfaction.


* Studying towards or having completed a master's degree is highly desirable.
