Surveillance Monitor

Native Preference in hiring is given to qualified enrolled members of Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians and Native Americans in accordance with the Bands Preference Policy, Chapter 1-715 of the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians Tribal Policies).

POSITION SUMMARY The Surveillance Monitor is responsible for helping to ensure Rolling Hills Casino complies with relevant laws, regulations, and minimum internal control standards via closed circuit television and data intelligence.

This includes but is not limited to: observing gaming activity and transactions; monitoring general safety and security of employees, patrons, vendors, and assets; and recording and reporting violations, anomalies, incidents for further review/action.

The Surveillance Monitor is integral to the success of the Paskenta Tribal Gaming Commission (PTGC) in meeting its regulatory obligations.

This position reports to the Surveillance Shift Supervisor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Continuously monitor surveillance cameras to observe gaming activities, cash handling, sensitive key access, and monitor the health, safety, and security of employees, patrons, vendors, and assets.Ensure strict adherence to tribal gaming regulations, internal controls, as well as local, state, and federal laws governing tribal casinos.Identify and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, cheating, theft, or violation of gaming regulations and operational policies and procedures.Document violations of compliance standards, suspicious activities, cheating, theft, etc., in report formats prescribed by the department.Monitor, identify, and confirm excluded patrons and report trespasses.Support operations in Anti-Money Laundering efforts and Title 31 requirements by verifying, recording, and reporting suspicious and fraudulent activity.Monitor access to sensitive keys, controlled forms, and sensitive/controlled-entry areas ensuring access is authorized/approved.Operate surveillance equipment effectively, including PTZ cameras, digital recording systems and any associated software.Respond to panic alarms and alerts generated by surveillance system, and coordinate with Security Department to address incidents, disturbances, emergencies, etc.Perform investigations and management requested reviews, as appropriate and as assigned.Maintain detailed, accurate records of surveillance activities, incidents, and observations, by preparing incident reports, photo captures, and video evidence, as needed.Coordinate video reviews with operations management, Security, local law enforcement as warranted and approved, as well as PTGC and PTGC staff, as appropriate.Report surveillance system and camera malfunctions immediately to initiate repair.Uphold strict ethical standards and privacy considerations while conducting surveillance activities, ensuring the prote...
