Aquatics Lessons & Programs Coordinator Department: AquaticsEmployment Status: Full-Time, HourlyReports to: Aquatics Operations & Safety Manager Club Location: Club Fit Briarcliff Position Summary The Aquatics Lessons & Programs Coordinator manages the administrative, instructional, and customer-service functions of the swim lesson program.

Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, processing registrations, scheduling lessons, maintaining program calendars, communicating with participants, and supporting overall program administration.

Pay Range: $25/hour with additional incentive bonus for Private and Group Swim Lesson Revenue.

Essential Functions Lesson Inquiries and Registration Respond promptly and professionally to swim lesson inquiries.

Explain lesson options, pricing, schedules, and availability.

Gather relevant information about each prospective participant.

Identify participant needs and coordinate appropriate lesson placement with the Head WSI.

Follow up with prospective participants and convert inquiries into registrations.

Maintain accurate records of inquiries and follow-up activity.

Track lost enrollment opportunities and the reasons participants did not register.

Communicate with parents and participants before and after registration.

Lesson Scheduling and Booking Process registrations for private, semi-private, and group swim lessons.

Schedule private and semi-private lessons based on participant, instructor, and pool availability.

Manage enrollment and rosters for group lessons.

Maintain and monitor program waitlists.

Process cancellations, schedule changes, and transfer requests.

Coordinate make-up lessons in accordance with program guidelines.

Maintain accurate participant and booking records.

Swim Lesson Instruction Teach private, semi-private, and group swim lessons as needed.

Provide instruction consistent with American Red Cross standards and established program guidelines.

Evaluate participant skills and provide appropriate placement and progress recommendations.

Follow logical skill progressions based on each participant's age and ability.

Provide clear instruction, encouragement, and constructive feedback.

Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Maintain all required certifications and complete recertification training within established deadlines.

Program and Calendar Administration Maintain an accurate and current swim lesson calendar.

Enter and update programs, schedules, and booking availability in the appropriate systems.

Coordinate program launches and registration opening dates.

Ensure program information displayed on the website and in internal systems is accurate.

Communicate program and schedule changes promptly to members, participants, and staff.

Assist with the administrative coordination of new and existing aquatics programs.

Customer Service Provide timely, professional, and helpful service to members, participants, parents, and prospective customers.
