Provide a quality, safe, positive and inclusive experience to children and parents focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: Supervise a group of children to ensure their health, safety and to provide a positive experience for each childImplement program activities that are age and developmentally appropriate and consistent with YMCA core valuesAdhere to program standards including safety and cleanliness standardsFollow YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergenciesProfessionally engages with parents/guardians to provide pertinent information about their childs experience and to promote upcoming programsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum age 18Plan and initiate culturally relevant and age/developmentally appropriate games and activitiesFluency in second language desiredExperience working effectively with & supervising children of various ages for extended periods of time Y Culture: Build relationships with a diverse membership base in culturally responsive ways, connect members with one another and to the YMCAExhibit Caring, Honesty, Respect and ResponsibilityComplete required training and certifications within established guidelinesArrive on time ready for shift, clock in/out within timekeeping system Embrace Leader Core Competencies: Mission Advancement: Accepts and demonstrates the Ys valuesDemonstrates a desire to serve others and fulfill community needsRecruits volunteers and builds effective, supportive working relationships with themSupports fundraising Collaboration: Works effective...
